The results of the inaugural Classic Hits Best of the Best Poll have now been collated.

Based on votes 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category have been listed. In categories where there was no clear 2nd and 3rd place getters they have been left off.

Special mentions go to Paige’s Book Gallery for blowing all the big chain competition out of the water with more than double the votes of any other book store.

• Mary at Wild Oats for winning Stand Out Service Person despite being in a niche store.
• Angie at Ambrosia Delicatessen, whose name appeared in three categories including best advice, stand out service person and best barista – truly a multi talented lady.
• Laureen at Footloose for being the best dressed gal in town; and finally
• Mike at House of Travel for being hands down everyone’s favourite travel agent.
