London Plane and Autumn Glory trees tower majestically throughout the avenue with Palm Fans providing added interest and colour. Trees are trimmed annually and replaced every 12 years with new trees planted into root-control containers. Cherry blossom trees are situated in Ridgway Street and Ridgway Park. ‘Awanui' produces deep pink blossoms in September and ‘Felix Jury' produces white blossoms in October through to November.
