Chinese New Year – The Year of the Dragon

Join us as we welcome the year of the Dragon. Majestic Square will be transformed into a hive of Dragon themed activity including stalls, cultural performances, demonstrations and Dragon crafts. |

The Rivercity Caboodle took place on Saturday 21 January and was a day long celebration of our town, our people and our heritage. Parts of the CBD were closed to traffic and replaced with stages, talks, live music and cultural performances. Highlights were a performance by The Roseneath Centennial Ragtime Band, A Bygone Fashion Extravaganza by Wanganui Amdram and an outdoor screening of Casablanca.

Based on votes 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category have been listed. In categories where there was no clear 2nd and 3rd place getters they have been left off.
